2016 Cornell Real Estate Conference: John Vazquez Senior Vice President of Global Real Estate Verizon

The 34th Annual Cornell Real Estate Conference is pleased to feature John Vazquez as one of the panelists on the Think Big/Think Bold: Disruptive Design in the Innovation Economy

He is responsible for over 101 million square feet of real estate, 4,700 facilities and 1,700 retail stores in 56 countries. He manages a group of more than 1,200 real estate professionals with an annual operating budget of over 2.5 billion dollars and directs efforts in the optimization of the Verizon portfolio.

Prior to his position at Verizon, Vazquez served as Vice President of Vendor Sourcing and Corporate Services as well as Chief Procurement Officer at MetLife. He has also held positions at JP Morgan Chase as SVP Director of Global Facilities and at IBM as Real Estate Program Manager for HQ Operations.

Vazquez serves on the Board of Visitors for Sacred Heart University. He is actively involved in several public and community services, including ASPIRA, St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters and the Special Olympics.
