The 34th Annual Cornell Real Estate Conference is pleased to feature Alison Novak as one of the panelist discussing The Intersection of Change and the Design/Built Environment.
Ms. Novak, a Principal of The Hudson Companies Inc., joined Hudson in 2006, where she oversees mixed-income and market-rate developments as well as Hudson’s middle income equity fund. Under her leadership, Hudson launched its commitment to green building. Novak has overseen the acquisition, design, financing, construction, and completion of a wide range of housing developments ranging from affordable to high-end, home ownership to rental, single family to high rise.
Prior to joining Hudson, Novak was with the San Jose Redevelopment Agency, the City of Alameda, the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, and Lesley University’s real estate division. Novak sits on the boards of the Osborn Association, Recycle-A-Bicycle (chair) and Women in Housing and Finance (president), all New York City-based non-profits. She is a member of the 21st cohort of Coro Leadership New York.
Novak received a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from Grinnell College, and a Master of City Planning and Master of Science in Real Estate Development from MIT.
