At this week’s Distinguished Speaker Series, Cornell’s Baker Program in Real Estate will host Clara Borrero, Project Manager at Tishman Construction. Ms. Borrero will participate in a Young Alumni Panel with three additional graduates of the program, hosted by Editors of the Real Estate Review, with Matthew Green (MBA/Baker’17) moderating.
Ms. Borrero is currently working in New York City on part of the $6 billion megaproject known as Pacific Park Brooklyn. Originally known as Atlantic Yards, the project covers 22 acres in downtown Brooklyn and is being led by Greenland Forest City Partners, a joint venture between Greenland USA and Forest City Ratner Companies. Ms. Borrero is currently managing the construction of a 23-story mixed-use affordable housing and medical facility as part of this master planned project.
Prior to joining Tishman, Ms. Borrero was a Senior Real Estate Strategist at Gensler, where she developed strategic plans for Fortune 500 companies. Ms. Borrero holds a Bachelor’s of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design, and a Masters in Real Estate Development from Cornell University (Baker Program ’10).
