The Baker Program in Real Estate is proud to welcome back Ronald Chua (Baker Program ’08) for this week’s Distinguished Speaker Series. Mr. Chua is a Vice President at the Carlyle Group where he focuses on a broad array of Real Estate Investments for the Real Estate Solutions Group. Mr. Chua will participate in a Young Alumni Panel with three additional graduates of the program, hosted by Editors of the Real Estate Review, with Matthew Green (MBA/Baker’17) moderating.
Mr. Chua is based in New York City, and is a Vice President of investments for Metropolitan Real Estate, a subsidiary of the Carlyle Group’s Investment Solutions platform. Mr. Chua is responsible for real estate co-investments and is presently investing $550 million for Carlyle’s Secondaries and Co-Investments Fund for which he has a global mandate across all major property types.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Chua was a Vice President at DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners, where he had acquisition and asset management responsibilities. Prior to that, he worked in Real Estate investments at Credit Suisse for two years.
