On April 20th, we have the distinct honor of hosting a webex with Ms. Susan Dollinger, Managing Director at Citigroup for the distinguished speaker series. With Susan, the Baker Program students will receive an education on international cross border real estate investments due to global exposure in her career. Currently based in Mexico City, Susan’s responsibilities include the portfolio management of Citi-Banamex´s exposure to key Mexican sectors: Government of Mexico, energy, utility, telecom, industrials and real estate.
Prior to moving to Mexico City, Susan was domiciled in Hong Kong for 8 years responsible for the real estate debt and equity positions throughout Asian Pacific Rim and Japan and exposures to private equity positions in a range of unrelated industries.
Susan is a proud Cornell alumnus with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government. Prior to assuming portfolio management responsibilities, she has had an extensive career serving clients in a range of industries, profiles, and geographies. Clients being served are in the developed and emerging economies in North America, Europe and Latam. Susan’s activities have included running new business development, leading equity investment activities in Europe and Asia, and restructuring real estate debt and equity positions globally. As part of these responsibilities she has represented Citigroup as a Member of the Board of Directors on multiple investments in the UK, France, Germany, India and China.
Throughout Susan’s career she has been actively engaged in doing pro bono work for nonprofits. Her interest in helping others has been on focusing on activities which hope to break the property cycle for the next generation be it education, career development and/or financial responsibility.
This interest has resulted in her being on the following Boards at various times but consistently throughout her career.
