Douglas M. Weill will be a speaker and a moderator at the 34th Annual Cornell Real Estate Conference. Douglas is a Founding and Managing Partner at Hodes Weill and Associates, a boutique real estate advisory firm. Since its inception in 2009, Hodes Weill has been assisting global real estate players with institutional capital raising, transactions, co-investment, M&A, strategic and restructuring advice, valuation and fairness analysis. The firm recently was highly commended the ‘Capital Advisory Firm of the Year’ title at the inaugural PIE Europe Property awards
Prior to Hodes Weill, Douglas was Managing Director at Credit Suisse where he helped found the real estate private equity business known as REPFG in 2000. In 2008, he also assumed responsibility of co-managing the Real Estate Investments Group at Credit Suisse.
Douglas Weill graduated from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell, and he currently serves on the advisory board for the Baker Program in Real Estate at Cornell.
